umm leave it somewhere to dry for a while. see if the components havent shorted themselves to death. my dads cell phone took a dip into the pacific ocean and came back to life like a few days later.. and it still works today.. 3 years later... though the battery is old.
I am the minority here.

You shouldn't dip it into another liquid after it fell in water. mellow.gif
Just leave it out to dry.

if you didnt turn on your shuffle yet, i would have advised
NOT to turn on the electronic. wait for it to completely dry and then try.
im not sure of alcohol thing :/

alcohol thing is used in small amounts on qtips to clean off residue that remains like if you spilled coke on it, it will be all sticky... use alcohol then.

But for you... shuffles are frikkin hard to take apart, so just swing it a few times to try to get some water out then just put it aside to dry... and give it lots of time. Hard since the battery is in it... but lets be hopeful.

i wouldn't recommend dipping it in alcohol.. try to google how to take out the battery and blow dry it! or you could just try to let it air dry for a while? :\ i dropped my camera into water (fresh water) and i blow dried it and now it works smile.gif i heard some people recommend putting it in your oven (after the battery is removed of course) to dry it off.. but i'm not sure.. you might have to look some more into that..

if you've already tried to turn it on, I'm pretty sure you should buy a new shuffle since attempting to power the device will short circuit it and mess it up beyond repair
