Well does anyone have classic out of the earth food malfunction stories?

Well mine is:

back in elementary i was trying to make cup noodle. SO i put the little stuff and spices in and put it in the microwave. after 1.minute i smelled burning i lok in the microwave and there my cup noodle was on fire. I find out that i forgot to put water in it! my whole apt. was filled with smoke --; what a disaster!
and it happened rwice!

umm another is when i was microwaving popcorn.. it too got on fire.

such bad memories with microwaves. --;

when me and my bro were younger, we tried to warm up a hardboiled egg that was still in its shell. we tapped the shell and the whole egg exploded all over the kitchen.

well this is mostly because of my stupidity ~~

i put my capri sun in the freezer so it'd be cold faster.. but it became frozen. i stuck it in the microwave, and i saw blue flashes and everything... because capri sun's covering contains aluminum. -.-

i was about 7, and was cutting an apple with a knife and accidently cut my hand really bad.. had to rush to an emergency hospital lol

i tried to heat up chicken in the microwave but i didn't take off the foil
we had to get a new microwave after that

i burned a toaster oven trying to make pizza. and the other time i burned chicken in a toaster oven worst experience everr.

I was reheating some food and I forgot to take off the aluminium foil around it and just chucked it in the microwave then there's like flashing lights come out. I didn't know how to turn the microwave off so it was burning too. I pulled the plug out of the socket to stop it. >.<

try to fry ricecake and the whole pot of hot oil exploded all over the kitchen wall ceiling floor etc... that was a disaster, imagine urself cleaning off oil oh i was covered in it too ughh happened twice, never tried to fry rice cake ever since

another one was when i try to boil dumblings and i forgot about it
i smelled something burnign and the whole pot was black and smokey, tried carrying it to the sink but it was too hot so i dropped it on the counter and it went BOOM! there a huge hole in my counter -.-

my microwave exploded when i put an unopened can of chef boyardee in it.

I forgot to put food in my uncle's microwave and put the darn thing on for 20 minutes.
his microwave exploded o_o;

And just a bunch of other bad things happened hahaha XD
a lot had to do with me and my cousin always baking with the oven o-o;

like, in may or june this year, i was cooking eggs, but i kinda slipped, and i had left the pan on high heat with oil in it, and i was recovering from the pain, and suddenly i smell burning, and smoke was rising from the pan, so i lift it, and it suddenly sets on HIGH fire, so i throw it in the sunk and turn on the water, and i thought everything would burn -.- but it didn't. thank GOD.

when i was around 5 me and my cousin we put the nest tea glass bottle into the freezer so it would get cold faster, but we forgot to take it out and it was in there to long and when we took it out it somehow broke into little pieces
and i always leave stuff un attended at time and usually something goes burning.
but the one time the with the aluminum foil in those a&w sandwich bag caught on fire in the microwave and i was like omg. i totally forgot. lol >_<

I tried to heat those A&W burgers (and I forgot that I actually had to take off the aluminum foil bag...) and it went on fire in the microwave. Thank goodness I was actually in the kitchen when it happened, and I had to retrieve the burning burger with a tong.

Wow everyone's got microwave stories.

Here's mine. I wrapped a hot dog in tin foil and threw it into the microwave for a minute. 5 seconds into cooking, flashes of lightning were shooting out of the wrapper. i turned off the microwave and opened the door to find the wrapper illuminated in a ball of fire...

When I was 10, maybe? I microwaved chicken in this little paper basket it came with but it had aluminum foil on the inside. It caught on fire. ==;; But I saved it in time. And the chicken was still edible. =O

Another was when my dad was making soup with a pressure cooker on the stove. He told me to turn off the fire and then I opened the pot and then BOOM! All the soup bursts out. We have a gas stove so half the stove was not usable for a couple days. =X

my siblings and i were making cup noodle.
i boiled water in a kettle and then when it was done, i moved the kettle to the counter.
i set my cup noodle cup on the stove i had just turned off.
i was pouring water for my brother and sisters.
then i lift my cup, and it is stuck to the stove.
it burned the stryfoam [sp??] and it got stuck on the stove.
it took forever to scrape off.

wow so many people with their stories of aluminum foil and the microwave. well i'm going to be cool and talk about a story that doesn't involve either.

i was baking cookies with my friend at her house but all the labeling for the stove and oven were rubbed off but she knew which dial went with the oven and she just kinda guessed at where the "bake" would be. but the whole time it was on broil and on i don't even know how high a temperature so yea the cookies caught on fire and it was just like on sims where you see the stove/oven is on fire and the people are just screaming at each other. haha that was good times.
