if people consider cheerleading a sport, can you have cheerleaders for cheerleading? What would that look like?

I'm usually a front spot because when my squad originally made stunt groups I was in Hong Kong. So I just got put into a group to front. But then people starting quitting and got injured. So I've pretty much been everything at least once. I was a flyer for about half an hour, a base for about 2 weeks, and I started backspotting today [i'm hella short though. Like 5'1 but the two bases were around the same height]
Haha yeah. Our squad is so mad about people qutting though. They quit like right after we qualified for Nationals and it messed up the wholeee routine. & a girl the other day fell out of a shoulder sit and fractured her ankle. How she did it, I do not know. It's like the time a flyer of ours fell out of a sponge and was out for 3 weeks.

haha yeah my coach was like "jen you should try flying." I tried it once and I told her i'd rather stay on the grounddddd if you know what i mean haha. so i'm a base, tried backspotting a couple times, and i'm also a front spot in one of my stunts for round3
a flyer fell out of a spnge?! and was out for three weeks huh... wow.
and why did people quit right before nationals?!
ourcompetititons have been SO bad because our coach got into a huge car crash a couple days before competitions and is out for a long long time. so then our new coach didn't cooperate with our squad atall and changed all our rounds....yep got placed last out of 9 hah

Haha yeah, I tried it once too and I guess I wasn't doing it right so I'm like nooo way. The only reason I did it was because I had to replace the flyer who fell out of a sponge. -__- but she came back and I didn't have to fly
We don't know why people quit before nationals but it really pissed everyone off. One girl didn't actually quit cheer, she's still cheering at basketball games, but she's not going to nationals. Another just quit all together. Like after we had a competition, she didn't show up for any of the practices and we eventually found out she quit. We didn't really like her anyway...She missed ALL the summer practices and was a Junior [it's harder to connnect cause there were only 2 Juniors on the squad and the rest were sophs]
Owww. Sucks about your coach. We techincally didn't really even have a coach until right before football season started. We've actually only been to two competitions. The first one we were totally not ready for and was also the day of our Homecoming. We ended up getting 2nd...out of two! The other on we were totally prepared for. We got first out of six? & we were supposed to go to one on January but we decided not to. So another one is coming up in like 2-3 weeks.

hahaa we're not allowed to cheer at basketball games anymore, because of the whole new coach thing and we need to concentrate on these rounds. and plus we're not allowed to stunt at basketball games either.... maybe with the new coach it'll be different?
oooh are you on jv?
mmm i'm on jv toooo hahah. wait why are there two juniors on your squad? is it like, to be on varsity you need a backhandspring for juniors (tucks for sophs) kinda thing? causeeeee that's how our school is. GAYYY. they focus all on tumbling.
we had a competition today, and it was at home. we had so many penalties though....for stupid stuff. andddd i dropped likle 4/7 of my stunts! it was horrible. and we hurt our backspot, cause she was too close under the flyer and the flyer lost balance and fell on her neck :/ and for our basket toss i didn't toss my flyer up high enough and so went i went in to catch her, she ended up driving into my knee :/ it was baddddd. and some of the other stunts i wasn't there in time because of the formation changes. despite all that, we got 4th.. haha. out of 11?
maybe next time we can actually place? mmmmm that's my goal.

Ohh. & yeah, I'm on JV. Well, the two juniors are on our squad probably because they've never cheered before in their entire life [actually, same goes to half of the JV squad including myself] Cheer at our school got really popular around tryout time last year so more people actually tried out and people don't make fun of the cheerleaders anymore.
Actually, for our school, we don't need tumbling to make varsity. At least, not for this year. I heard that they might make it a rule next year though. If they do I'm not trying out because Cheer actually makes me really mad and it's not like I LOVE it. I really tried out only because I didn't have anything to do and wanted to occupy my time. But I would love to be on varsity because they get so much more benefits than JV and don't get treated like crap like we doo. Our school doesn't focus on tumbling..at all. They don't even teach us. Like no one on JV can tumble at all and maybe around 10 out of 22 on Varsity can.
Woww. That sucks. For our competition where we got first, we think we got first only cause we didn't drop any stunts while our competition did. Even though they had libs, baskets, tumbling, all that jazz and we had our sad little straight up extensions, we still beat them haha.

haha your school used to make fun of cheerleaders? like, in a bad way or stereotypical way? in our schoollll, pom is like the thing.
wait i find it soooo weird your school doesn't focus on tumbling because that's ALL our school focuses on haha. you can't make round2 in varsity unless you have a tuck (coach wants team tucks) so wait what does your jv round2 do then?
i can't do a straight up extention. HA. i'm too weak. we do press upsssssssss
sorry about everyone else! i didn't mean to leave you guys out
i do allstar & school cheerleading.

haha i didn't know you could be on both at the same time..? but yeah i know a LOT of school cheer squads that suck.....HA better for us.
lolllll that's sweet. how long have you been on it for?
mmmm in middle school huh i think we all were. lol i know i was. i remember when i used to TaWk lYkE DiS.
Except our cheer squad (school) sort of fell apart......
awwww how'd it fall apart?
