Maynard's vocals are amazing no? i'm sure this thread won't last long because after all it is a korean forum and the majority don't really listen to bands such as a perfect circle. i think everyone should at least try them. they're an incredible band. they might not have those cutesy little catchy tunes but when you listen to their songs you can feel a lot of emotions. i mean even i listen to kpop occassionally and still love A Perfect Circle.

well, anyone here miss them?! at least Maynard's back with Tool and a new album. but i'll miss A Perfect Circle. it's a shame i never had the chance to see them live.

and as far as favorite song go, i think i'll have to say "The Noose".

awesome band. it was actually a side project of maynards. but it was all good. actually, i first heard the song 3 libras, and i liked it very much. then there was blue. its just... i love the mysteriousness it has to it.

and then there was tool. you should try 'sober' and 'vicarious.'

^yep. very aware of the fact that maynard is from tool and still is. biggrin.gif i've heard a good amount of tool songs as well and could never make sense of their music videos. a perfect circle is a lot less heavier compared to tool of course, its more melodic and more beautiful. tool was more aggressive. but that may have to do with maynard's age. he's gotten calmer over the years. but his voice has definitely improved. i am totally in love with his voice. i think he's got one of the best rock/metal voices. <3

i wish a perfect circle would stay but maynard's too loyal to Tool. i think their contract expired so i don't think we'll be hearing anymore from A Perfect Circle.

I like them alot, sad they're not active.
I actually bumped into them when I found out that one of Queens Of The Stoneage's guitarist, Troy Van Leeuwen, had been in the band beforehand.

yes yes yes. tongue.gif

i think you should really try out "The Noose" because so far i think it's my favorite but of course along with
"Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" and "Pet" basically have the same lyrics but Counting bodies has more of an aggressive feel to it.
"Orestes" beautiful song. just beautiful.
"Sleeping Beauty" another beautiful song
"Weak and Powerless"
"The Outsider"

so give those a try first. smile.gif then if you like them maybe even try Tool. they have released a new album. and Maynard's the singer for Tool.
