I hope I am doing this right.. lol I haven't posted in a long time. Well, I surfed through the posts and didn't see something similar so sorry if I'm doing this wrong. tongue.gif ^^;;

Well.. I just bought a digital camera a week agoSamsung Digimax S500. It's pretty decent although I prefer Canon.. oh well.. it's fine. unsure.gif

The problem is, I think the lenses is kinda broken. It's my fault for dropping it but.. Now that everytime I turn it on, the lenses get stuck and I have to pull it out myself. Also, it doesn't close entirely on its own like it used to.. I would have to push it back when I turn off or else it makes an annoying clicking sound. The zoom doesn't work anymore too. I can't seem to zoom in a picture anymore.. it sucks. And when it does, the screen/picture is blurry? sad.gif

Any help? Should I just get someone to fix for me? Should I replace it? Or should I just call tech support? ph34r.gif

I don't like Tech support though. I had several bad incidents the last time when I called my internet's tech support. crazy.gif

Wow. I don't wanna waste money paying for another camera.. haha.

Plus, I hear the price for fixing a camera ranges from 30% to 70% of the price of the camera.. Ouch.

Edit: lol I accidentally spelled "Broken" as "Borken". sweatingbullets.gif

Obviously the lens IS broken. Unless you bought insurance or extended warranty on it, there's nothing you can do but buy a new camera [since repairing it costs an arm] :I

I guess I should just stick with it. It can still take pictures.. it just can't zoom.. Oh well.

I don't think my parents would appreciate me telling them to buy another camera after it's been only a week.. haha.

Thanks for the advice. smile.gif
