I know you're supposed to first make a call... lalalala friend answers phone, then I dial the other number and call and then they answer, then i press "LINK", but when I do that, it hangs up the phone and I'm left on the phone w/ the first person I called. I have no idea what's wrong with it. And on a side note, the phone was purchased from Cingular. I don't know if that's relevant or not. I doubt it is, but I just wanted to say.
