Try Open Office Its a free open source word processor. Basically just click your operating system (I'm assuming Windows?)

Don't ask for downloads of full licensed products.
Open Office is a good alternative and is compatible with MS Word files.

i have a question regarding this...
how come when I bought my first computer, the Microsoft Word came with it. and now...I have a new one and this one doesn't have the program...
