Just wandering. I'm in my first semester/year and still trying to get used to it. The only problem I have is studying. I'm gradually getting better at it, but at the same time my grades are suffering(I consider them bad, I want at least a B-) for those two classes. Everything else seems fine, just the studying part. Also, choosing classes is a pain in the butt, especially since I'm a freshman, so I get like the leftovers after everybody else.

So, how long did it take you?

It took me about 2 quarters (4-5 months). I'm a pretty slow adapter to change...

Half a year for me. Or around 4 months, really. I adjusted well. It really is like high school, just a little more "lax" on the system's part. There's more that YOU have to do for yourself, that was the only difference.

'Cuz I love the way you say "Good Morning."
And you take me the way I am.

Yeah I dunno what people complain about... it's just like high school except you're actually paying for this and people don't get after you if you skip class. Oh, and people treat you like adults.

took me quite a while as I had to adapt to so many things. Moving back from London to Asia, it was kind of hard. I had to adapt to the culture, their ways of living, etc...I'm in final year now and I still find it hard sometimes..

werd.

If you go to one of those specialized HS that give you mad hw and make you take a lot of AP classes like mine, it isn't really that hard of a transition. With the amount of kids in my HS as well...around 5000, it felt like a mini college.

I'm a freshman as well! first quarter..I think it's different for me cause I'm a music major..so alot of my grades are the voice lessons, choral, and other stuff. I have no trouble studying..cause I think that when I did homeschooling for 8 years, it did have some good that came out of it LOL...just concentrate! go to the library..study and maybe study with a group or with a person. I got used to college probably during the first month..it went by so slow at first then it picked up the pace HAHA..it's cause I probably attended freshman orientation which got us going and stuff kept us busy with activities so that we would know how it feels like to be in college. But ya try hard!
