DBSK's "Superstar" Ranks #2 on Oricon Daily Singles Chart

DBSK‘s new Japanese single “Superstar“, which was released on July 20th, ranked second on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart.

Oricon, the official Japanese singles chart, has recorded sales of 75,687 copies of “Superstar”, which ranks them second. “Superstar”‘s sales are behind only Japanese girl group NMB48, who sold over 100,000 copies today. Also, the reported figure does not include sales of special versions such as BigEast and SevenNet releases, making the single’s total first-day sales higher.

The duo recently performed “Superstar”, along with the previously-released “Maximum”, at the opening of Nicofarre, a new club in Japan – the performance was also aired on the 700th episode of the Japanese TV show “Heyx3”, which featured DBSK alongside other Korean acts such as SNSD and 2PM. They are set to perform “Superstar” at “Music Fair” on August 6th.
