Go Ara: “BoA and DBSK Taught Me English and Dance”

Go Ara, who stars in the new movie “Papa“, recently revealed that SM Entertainment label mates DBSK and BoA aided her greatly in her preparations.

According to Ara, “BoA came to the filming site to teach me English.” She then goes on to say that,”‘Masculine’ dancing was required in the film, so it was not easy to do. I met Yunho in the office once or twice, and he helped to check my dance, telling me ‘You must put in your utmost effort.’”

“Papa” is centered around Chunseob, a man who leaves for America in order to find a manager who ran away with a singer. This leads to a “contract marriage”, and he is left with six children, the eldest of which is played by Go Ara. The eldest daughter shows promise in singing, and eventually becomes a celebrity in the US.

Ara’s role in the film required her to learn dance, singing, and even the guitar. However, she states that training with two SNSD members prior to her debut helped her greatly in her preparations.

“Papa”, starring Park Yong Woo, Go Ara and Daniel Henney, is set to hit theatres in January of 2012.
