Jay Park's "New Breed" Tops Hanteo Charts

Jay Park topped Hanteo Charts with his new album “New Breed.” “New Breed” was released on February 7 and have sold more than 80,000 copies offline. This ranked Jay Park as the best selling artist on the Hanteo Weekly Chart. Previously “New Breed” was ranked at fourth place on U.S. Billboard World Albums chart and 16th place on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart. The album’s title song “Know Your Name” also topped many Korean online music charts and ranked no.1 on US itunes’ R&B/Soul chart and in the top 5 on the Australian and Japanese itunes’ R&B/Soul charts. 

Jay Park wrote more than 80% of the songs and was in charge of the overall producing of “New Breed”. Fellow artists like Dynamic Duo, Dok2, and Rob Knox, who previously produced Justin Timberlake, are featured in the album. “New Breed” also satisfied music critiques, proving Jay Park as a talented artist. 

Jay Park is currently making appearances on “M! Countdown,” “Music Bank,” and “Immortal Songs 2.”  Continuing his successful career as an artist, Jay Park is scheduled to hold his very first independent concert at Olympics Hall in Seoul on March 3 at 6pm KST.
