SHINee’s Japanese Debut Single Receives Gold Record Certificate

It was announced SHINee’s Japanese debut single “Reply-You Are My Everything” which was released on June 22^nd, has received a Gold Record Certification from the Japanese Record Association. The certificate is an acknowledgement to a disc that have sold 100,000 or more copies.

So far, KARA and SNSD are the only two that reached the standard of selling over 10,000 copies and rewarded the certification with their debut single. As the first Korean boy group to receive this honor with its debut single, the boys have rewritten the history!  With 50,270 copies sold on the first day of its release, the single went on to sale 91,000 copies within the first week, which is another record they have just set.

SHINee will be having their Japanese tour “SHINee Japan Debut Premium Reception” starting from July 22^nd in Fukuoka, with a total of 6 concerts in 5 cities to celebrate their Japanese debut with their fans. Congrats to the boys!
