“The Moon that Embraces the Sun’s” Loyal Bodyguard Woon Surprises Fans with Ripped Body

Recently, old photos of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun’s” Song Jae Rim, who plays Hwon’s (Kim Soo Hyun) loyal bodyguard Woon, were uploaded onto various internet community sites, surprising netizens. Titled “Woon’s Hidden Muscles,” the photos were of Song Jae Rim enjoying a break at a waterpark. Netizens could not help but notice Song Jae Rim’s ripped body in the photos and commented, “It looks like a photo for a spread,” “I knew he was skinny, but wow he’s full of muscle,” and others. 

Meanwhile, last night’s episode of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” recorded 37.1% (AGB Nielsen) viewership ratings. While the overall ratings were the same as the tenth episode, “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” rewrote its personal high in real-time ratings hitting 42.5%. It was also belatedly revealed that Kim Soo Hyun was not the producers’ first choice for King Hwon! Additionally, a couple days ago, Kim Soo Hyun and Song Jae Rim delighted their fans by mimicking the “couple in the rain” scene done by child actors Kim Yoo Jung and Lee Min Ho in an earlier episode.
