CN Blue’s "Heartstrings" OST Achieves Success On Taiwanese Charts

CN Blue is transferring their oerseas success over to Taiwan, as they are now sweeping up the mobile charts with their MBC OST for "Heartstrings!" On December 9, CN Blue’s two digital songs for "Heartstrings" were released for download in Taiwan. Currently, "You Are In Love With Me" and "I Miss You" are both ranked #1 on Taiwan’s biggest mobile sites in the number of downloads.

Japanese Release of "Heartstrings" OST to Feature Jung Yong Hwa’s "Comfort Song" as Bonus Track

Apart from Jung Yong Hwa’s “Comfort Song,” the Japanese release of the “Heartstrings” soundtrack will contain all 20 tracks from the original two-part Korean release, featuring songs sung by Jung Yong Hwa, Park Shin Hye, Kang Min Hyuk, M Signal and FT Island, among others. The Japanese version will also include a bilingual booklet.

“Heartstrings” may have trailed in ratings at home, but fans the world over have definitely fallen for it. The MBC youth melodrama was recently voted “Best Korean Drama” on a user-generated page of the search engine site Squidoo.com. Similarly on a fan-created “Best of Korea” page on social networking site Facebook, “Heartstrings” won over “Dream High” and “You’re Beautiful” for “Best Teen Drama.”

Lee Hyun Jin, the drama department’s gifted-but-stage-fright-plagued Ki Young in “Heartstrings” is likely to star in the upcoming KBS medical drama “Brain.” Early reports say he will play a doctor, the rival to Lee Sang Yoon’s neurosurgeon character, who is looking to rise very quickly to the position of university hospital director.
