Military Men Lee Jun Ki, Kim Ji Hoon and Kim Ji Suk Write a "Rookies’ Diary"

In a reversal of usual events, hit Taiwanese drama “Rookies’ Diary” gets a Korean spin. The Korean version of the drama, about life of recruits in military training stars Lee Jun Ki (“Time Between Dog and Wolf,” “Iljimae,” “My Girl”), Kim Ji Hoon (“Joseon X-Files,” “Stars Falling From the Sky”) and Kim Ji Suk (“Personal Taste,” “Chuno.”)

A star-studded dream concert was held at Seoul Plaza where fans from all over the world got the chance to see their favorite male celebrities who are currently serving in the military. Celebrities include actors Lee Jun Ki, Lee Dong Gun, and Kim Ji Suk as well as singers Park Hyo Shin, Epik High, Andy (Shinhwa), and Dynamic Duo.

Korean Military Using their Enlisted Celebrities for Profit?

Recently the Korean Marines came under fire after a “Publicity Book” was created that had pictures of Hyunbin and his military training. Now a similar problem regarding the Korean military and using celebrities for profit is occurring. It was revealed through SBS that episodes containing celebrities Lee Jun Ki and Tony An during their military service were being sold to Japan.
