Super Junior’s Siwon is chosen as the new model for Maeil Dairy Company’s coffee brand, Caffe Latte. The person in charge of Caffe Latte revealed how the model was picked by saying, "We decided that the person who best fits the top cup coffee brand, Caffe Latte, is Siwon of Super Junior, who is leading the Hallyu wave globally. We are hoping that Siwon’s deep and soft image will well express the specialty of Caffe Latte."

Super Junior’s Siwon received a slew of birthday greetings on his special day but a surprise birthday wish came from none other than the famous novelist, Paulo Coelho! On Siwon’s birthday last April 7, the author used his Twitter account and sent a tweet to Siwon. Paulo Coelho wished him a happy birthday and told Siwon to be a warrior of light. Siwon responded saying that he is a fan of Paulo Coelho. Paulo Coelho responded with another tweet telling Siwon to inform him if he is in Europe. He added that Siwon’s fans are warriors with all the love and support that they have for Siwon.

On March 30, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri was named the official model for Korean cosmetic brand, Mamonde, joining Super Junior’s Siwon as the company’s representative faces. Mamonde’s producer, Amore Pacific, said, “In order to add fresh energy into the brand, we’ve decided to pick Girls’ Generation’s Yuri as our main model.”
