Famous American producer, Teddy Riley retweeted a comment calling girl group Wonder Girls a "failed group" on his Twitter. As a result, he has been receiving many complaints and objections.
It all started on October 1, when someone asked Teddy Riley about the rumor of SNSD’s new album, "The Boys" hitting the American market and expressing his/her doubts of an Asian group not meeting the favors of America. He went on to say, "Pls don’t worry they will be more [accepted] than WG."

The war for being the most sexy girl group is at its end now. The girl groups are trying to get rid of their provocative looks and are going for more personal and unique styles. Girl groups want to set themselves apart from their competitors and are trying out whole other concepts.
Wonder Girls received number one on the Billboard Charts’ "Mashup Mondays of 2011" by getting the most number of votes, and also the first group to receive first place on an American chart. According to Billboard, they recieved 65% of all the votes. "Mashup Mondays" is a section of the website that has new groups singing songs that are recommended or asked for by fans. During the 8 month period, there were a total of 32 teams that participated in the event.
On Sept. 27, Billboard.com released their rankings for 2011’s “21 Under 21,” a list of the twenty one hottest artists from around the globe all under the age of twenty one. 4Minute’s HyunA made the list this year coming in at number seventeen. This is not the first time a Korean act has made the list as just last year the Wonder Girls took the sixteenth place on the list. HyunA being nominated continues the Wonder Girls’ tradition.
The Wonder Girls are friends with the School Gyrls. On September 21, "Wonder Girls" uploaded a photo on Twitter taken with an American girl group "School Gyrls." The members from both bands put their arms around each other, posing to show off their beauty. Ye Eun completed her stylish look with a large bag while Sun Ye and Hye Lim smiled.
We’re just mere weeks away from the Wonder Girls’ Korean come back, but it seems Wonderfuls will have more than enough to tide them over until the big event unfolds, as Yenny has just uploaded a new song titled "Smile" on their YouTube channel!
The Wonder Girls’ Ye Eun was featured in a pictorial for High Cut’s website. The pictorial features an elegant concept, showcasing Ye Eun’s radiance through the use of black and dark grey backdrops. Minimal makeup keeps the Ye Eun from looking too ladylike in this pictorial.
After announcing the change of their username last week on twitter, the Wonder Girls have released a short video on youtube to tell more fans about it. Now officially going by @WonderGirls, their previous username was @followWG.
