The female group "Jewelry" will join the hallyu boom in China. Jewelry has been invited to the opening ceremony of the "2006 Korean Video Cultural Festival in Qingdao, China," which will be held at Tiantai Gymnasium in Qingdao, China on June 16 at 7:00 p.m. The group is expected to fascinate Chinese fans by presenting a dynamic performance.
The main events of the "2006 Korean Video Cultural Festival in Qingdao, China" will be held at Huiquan Park in Qingdao from June 16 to 23 under the joint sponsorship of the Qingdao city government and the Republic of Korea Consulate General in Qingdao. The event was planned to promote cultural exchanges between South Korea and China.
The program has attracted particular attention because it is a large-scale event showing South Korean films and TV dramas and featuring traditional cultural performances by South Korean and Chinese artists.
Besides Jewelry giving a performance that day, the group’s leader Park Jung-ah will join SBS TV announcer Park Sang-do as joint masters of ceremonies for a main event, attracting the attention of local media companies.
Park Jung-ah said, "I’m glad to serve as a joint MC for such a big event. I’ll prepare a dynamic performance for Chinese fans."
