Singer Bada is likely to conquer China soon, as she captivated the Chinese press and fans through her performance in the "F1 Korean Wave Concert" that was held in Shanghai on Oct. 2.
In the concert, Bada displayed her powerful singing ability by singing four songs live–including "Music" and "V.I.P."–and receiving thunderous applause from some 20,000 audience members.
Bada commented on her growing popularity in China. "I was surprised to see bouquets of flowers and baskets of fruits from fans in front of my room at the hotel after the concert," she said in an interview.
The impressed Chinese press also lavished praise on Bada by describing her as Korea’s top female singer. A newspaper even compared her with Rain, introducing her as the female singer leading the Korean Wave while Rain is the leading male singer.
Her growing popularity has caused her agency to receive a great number of official requests for her to give performances in China.
Bada is currently devoting all her time to working on her single album planned for release in November.
