Eric and Goo Hye Sun lead the KBS2 drama “The Most Powerful Chil Woo (최강칠우)”

5/19/08 – Eric (aka Moon Jung Hyuk) and Goo Hye Sun (구혜선) will lead the Monday-Tuesday drama "The Most Powerful Chil Woo (최강칠우)" scheduled to be aired by KBS2 on 6/17, following the final episode of "Powerful Opponents".

This martial-arts historical drama is portrayed by mysterious, clear, comical, interesting, and simple storylines.  Eric plays the role Kang Chil Woo (강칠우) who is the leader of assassinators in Chosun Era.  During daytime, he is a mediocre low-ranking staff working in the Special Court (의금부, 義禁府).  On the contrary, during nighttime, he changes to become the most powerful assassinator emitting righteousness.  GHS plays the role Soh Yoon (소윤) who is the daughter of a downfallen family.  Originally she worked as a palace servant of Qing Dynasty and then becomes a maid working in the Special Court where she bumps into Chil Woo.  Afterwards, Chil Woo and Soh Yoon develop love relationship. 

Supporting cast includes Jun Noh Min, Im Ha Ryung, Yoo Ah In, Suh Woo, Lee Un, Kim Byul ( 전노민, 임하룡, 유아인, 서우, 이언, 김별).  Jun Noh Min plays Min Seung Gook (민승국) who is one of the members of assassinator group.  Lee Un plays Ja Ja (자자) who has unique martial art skills. Yoo Ah In plays a villain Heuk San (흑산).  Kim Byul plays the role Yun Doo (연두) who has one-way love towards Chil Woo.  Im Ha Ryung plays Chil Woo’s adopted father Nam Deuk (남득). 

GHS’s previous drama was "The King and I (SBS)".  This drama will be Eric’s last drama before he is scheduled to start his military service after he finishes this drama.
