To start off Jewelry’s sixth album, they introduced
us with a hip hop intro “Bounce.” Though I’m not a huge fan of these
types of tracks, I found it to be a perfect start for the album. The title
track for Jewelry’s album was “Vari2ty” in which I found singing
along to even when I didn’t want to. “Strong Girl” is a very interesting track.
The rhythm to the song reminded me of a mixture of older songs that I had heard
before to make the song sound a bit different and more fascinating. “Oops” had
a catchy chorus but the song was kind of bland because it sounded like a repeat
of the other songs off the album like “Fantastic4”, “Sweet Boy”, and “Be Rocker.” Although they did sound like that the beats and rhythm to the songs are aggressive while the vocals of each members are brought out strongly.
To finish, the album was filled with a classy and stylish sensation.
