Former 2PM leader Jaebum will actually be in Korea sometime this week to start filming the b-boy movie “Hype Nation”, according to Asia Economic Daily. An official with the film stated, “He is planning on arriving during this week, possibly before the weekend at the earliest.”
Earlier reports had speculated that he would arrive sometime around June 23rd. Jaebum actually planned on flying into Korea yesterday for the film, but was delayed because of some issues that arose in New York. He was cast for the film nearly two months ago.
Jaebum is the former leader of the popular idol group 2PM. He left the group last September, and went back to the U.S. He currently dances with the b-boy group Art of Movement (based in Washington state) and was recently signed to the renowned media company Digital Media Wire.
“Hype Nation” is a movie about a dance contest between American and Korean dancers. Female singer T-ae, member of a girl group posed to debut in July, was recently cast as the female lead for the film. She will play the role of Jaebum’s younger sister.
