Core Contents Media, T-ara’s agency, announced through a press release on Friday that the group would be going through some “big changes” soon.
The “big changes” will be announced by agency official Kim Kwang Soo on July 23rd. The changes will be made as a group and on a group level in order to resolve any existing issues the girls may have. To keep things even more vague, the agency will not be releasing any more comments on the matter until then.
Rumors of a fall-out between T-ara members surfaced when members Jiyeon and Hyomin posted updated their Twitters on Wednesday with intriguing comments. Jiyeon talked about being “too focused on charging forward” while Hyomin questioned why she was being given a “hard time”.
The group’s agency dismissed these rumors, stating that they were just complaining about their grueling work schedule. Rumors of the group breaking up or fighting were false, they added.
T-ara debuted in 2009. The group’s first album produced two smash hits – “I Go Crazy Because of You” and “Bo Peep Bo Peep”.
