Jung Kyung Ho, who starred in dramas such as “Smile, You” and “I’m Sorry, I Love You”, entered the military on November 30 to begin his mandatory two-year service. The 27-year-old actor spoke with fans and reporters before entering the 306th draft in the city of Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province. He will undergo five weeks of basic training before becoming an active-duty soldier for the duration of his mandatory service.
Jung told reporters that he spent his last night of freedom drinking with fellow actors Ji Jin Hee, Gong Yoo, and Ha Jung Woo.
“Gong Yoo, in particular, spoke of his experience in the military for ten hours yesterday,” said Jung of his friend who had been discharged from the military last December. His observation drew laughs from the fans and reporters who had gathered to wish him well. The crowd also gave him presents, such as a military care package and “actress stickers”.
