Entertainment company Sidus HQ’s entertainment education institution “C.A.S.T” has begun global acting education. C.A.S.T has announced that their “2011 Summer Intensive Acting Workshop” will begin this coming July which targets foreign aspiring actors. C.A.S.T has opened on June, 2009. This education program is based on fourteen years of acting manage experience by Sidus HQ. Hwang Seun Hee who played Kang Seo Yeon (The creepy killer on SBS’s “Sign”) and Hyun woo who played Ji Hoon (One member of three Pasta Princes on MBC’s “Pasta”) has debuted through C.A.S.T.
C.A.S.T is also famous for its acting star teachers Ahn Hyuk Mo and Shin Seung Won who have coached Jang Hyuk, Jeon Ji Hyun, Kim Sun Ah, Song Joong Ki, Han Ye Seul, Park Min Young, and Phillip Lee. The upcoming acting workshop is C.A.S.T’s first global project.
The Daeri (One step above entry level employees) Lim Eun Young of Sidus HQ’s Foreign Business Team said “Within C.A.S.T’s basic program we are planning to include a special program for foreign aspiring actors.”
The program will also contain basic acting training, vocal training, and education of sounding organs, acting classes, and adjusting Korean pronunciation. All classes are taught in Korean.
