CN Blue recently had their 2nd fan meeting in Japan after capturing the hearts of the Japanese since their debut.
The fan meeting, dubbed “CNBLUE 2nd Official Fanclub Event 2011~ Welcome to BOICE JAPAN II~,” was held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall. There were at least 5,000 members of CN Blue’s fanclub present at the event. Various media outlets were also present at the event, showing the band’s popularity in Japan.
CN Blue said, “It’s been so long. While we were in Korea, we were concerned about the people in Japan after the earthquake and seeing you today makes us relieved. We want to give strength to those who have been affected by the earthquake through our songs today.”
CN Blue made their debut as an indie band in Japan with the mini-album “Now or Never” in 2009 and they made their debut in Korea in 2010. The group has not announced any musical activities in the near future as Minhyuk and Yonghwa are working on their drama “You’ve Fallen For Me.”
