T-ara’s upcoming album “John Travolta Wannabe” jacket photos give a first glimpse into the look and feel of the girl group’s anticipated new release.
In keeping with the retro theme, the photos are of the girls in school uniform, shot in black and white and framed with oval vignettes, reminiscent of class portraits and field-trip mementos of a bygone generation. In other pictures, T-ara are in disco outfits of polka dots and busy prints. The look is completed with playful hair accessories and platform shoes.
T-ara’s comeback track is titled “Roly Poly,” which is described to have an easy melody and will feature choreography calling back to the dance moves made popular by the John Travolta movie “Saturday Night Fever,” and were all the rage of the 70s and 80s. T-ara will perform the song with a large ensemble of 20 dancers onstage, to further bring about the disco atmosphere.
A statement from T-ara’s management, Core Contents Media reported that the music video and jacket shoot were conducted over June 18th and 19th.
“John Travolta Wannabe” will be released on July 1st.
