KTH, one of the top mobile service providers in Korea, has launched a multi-language version of the popular “Korean Celeb Face Match” application, in English, Chinese, and Japanese, allowing K-Pop fans from around the world to discover their doppelganger celebrity in today’s Korean pop industry.
So how exactly does it work? All you have to do is take a photo of yourself with your iPhone and then run it on this application. Within seconds, it will automatically sort out five K-Pop stars that most look alike you. The results are easily shareable through Facebook or Twitter, and it also gives you the option of searching for the matching celebrity’s online profile in English. The database is quite extensive as it has not just all the latest K-Pop stars, but also some of the up and coming rookie actors and singers as well.
