"Thieves" Come Back From Hong Kong and Macau Shoots

“Thieves,” the film dubbed as the Korean “Ocean’s Eleven” has recently wrapped its overseas shoots in Hong Kong and Macau.  Its cast and crew marked the end of their one-month work abroad with a prayer ceremony in Macau.

“Thieves” boasts of an A-list cast headlined by Jeon Ji Hyun (“The Snow Flower and the Secret Fan”) and her “Il Mare” co-star Lee Jung Jae (“The Housemaid.”)  Kim Yoon Seok, Kim Hye Soo, Oh Dal Soo, Kim Hae Sook and Kim Soo Hyun round up the stellar line-up.  

The caper film, directed by Choi Dong Hoon, is about a group of professional thieves who pull a heist of the “Tears of the Sun” diamond in a Macau casino.  With the primary location shoots now wrapped, the “Thieves” team come back to Korea to complete production.  “Thieves” is aimed at a late 2011 release.
