JYJ‘s Park Yoochun‘s younger brother, Park Yoohwan, has been cast for writer Kim Soo Hyun‘s upcoming SBS drama, “A Promise of One Thousand Days.”
“Park Yoohwan has been cast for the role of Lee Moon Kwon in SBS’s new drama, ‘A Promise of One Thousand Days.’ He’ll be playing the role of the female lead Soo Ae’s younger brother,” officials of C-JeS Entertainment revealed on September 1st.
The drama is about one man’s efforts to protect the memories of lover, who is slowly losing her memory by the day. Other actors cast alongside Park Yoohwan include Kim Rae Won, Soo Ae, Moon Jung Hee, Jung Jun, Lee Mi Sook, and Park Young Kyu.
Park Yoohwan’s character in particular is a college graduate that knows of his older sister’s sickness but pretends to act like it doesn’t affect him and his support for her. Described to be a bright character, he fights against his harsh reality with positivity.
Writer Kim Soo Hyun will be working with PD Jung Eul Young for the drama, which is raising the anticipation of viewers.
Park Yoohwan stated, “It’s an honor to star in such a great drama. I’m grateful that I received this opportunity, and I will definitely do my best.”
The drama will begin airing in the middle of October.
