Lee Byung Hun’s Fun Photo at GI Joe 2 Filming

Hollywood director Jon Chu recently posted a photo of Lee Byung Hun via Twitter. Titled, ‘Storm Shadow at a haunted house,’ it shows the actor striking a pose in front of a prop-monster.

The photo shows a relaxed atmosphere with Lee Byung Hun casually dressed in jeans and a shirt, showing a sly smile with his two fists in front of a giant monster. This is the first public photo of the actor who plays Storm Shadow since he started filming in New Orleans last August.

Lee Byung Hun is currently in the US filming the GI Joe sequel “GI Joe: Retaliation” under the direction of Jon M. Chu, famous for the Justin Bieber movie “Never Say Never” and “Step Up 3D”. Together with returning “GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra” stars Channing Tatum, Ray Park and Arnold Vosloo, he is joined by Hollywood stars Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, Ray Stevenson, Elodie Yung, Adrianne Palicki, Joseph Mazello and many more in the highly-anticipated action blockbuster.

Lee Byung Hun’s agency BH Entertainment stated on October 25 that the filming in New Orleans is 70% finished and the production is expecting to fully wrap up in November. He has been enjoying his participation in the shoot, with a pleasant and warm atmosphere at the set.

Playing one of the original GI Joe comic characters, Storm Shadow, Lee Byung Hun’s performance in “GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra” gained tremendous popularity, and appearing in the sequel promises even greater exposure for the actor. “The Rise of Cobra” exceeded a total worldwide revenue of $302 million, a box-office hit. With his fluency in English and delivering a strong acting performance, Lee Byung Hun’s entry to Hollywood had been considered successful.

“GI Joe: Retaliation” opens worldwide on June 29, 2012.
