After School’s Joo Yeon has been hospitalized for kidney inflammation (acute nephritis) and sources say that she will rejoin the rest of the members for their Japanese promotions this week.

Sources told Star News in an interview, “Joo Yeon is having a hard time right now but since she is a strong person, she will be okay. After we keep watch on her, if she is able, she will rejoin the rest of the members to continue with their Japanese schedule.”
They continued to say, “Joo Yeon’s schedule up until this Friday is currently canceled. Joo Yeon needs a lot of rest so the rest of the members will head to Japan first.”
\After School’s Japanese management, Avex Trax stated, “After School was planning to start activities at the end of November but the health and recovery of an artist is more important. Therefore, instead of starting right away, we decided that Joo Yeon needs rest.”
