After School to Start 3rd Single Promotions in Japan

After School is releasing their 3rd Japanese single, “Rambling Girls,” on January 25. Prior to the release, After School is to make several on-air appearances, and hold group promotions and commercial shootings. The group is most likely to spend the first half of 2012 in Japan as the release of a regular album and a series of concerts are planned ahead already.

After School started their Japanese career with the first single “Bang!” followed by the second single “Diva.” After School was also advertised on “Shibuya 109“s humungous outdoor billboard as part of their collaboration with Shibuya’s landmark building.

Since the billboard appearance, After School has been continuously cast to model. Last year, Nana was a part of Girls Award by CROOZ blog 2011 AUTUMN/WINTER collection as a runway model. This year, After School is invited to attend MBC Kiss Korean INTERNATIONAL STYLE SHOW Supported by Girls Award not only as performers, but also as models to walk the runway.

Uee commented on the group’s Japanese activities, “After School celebrated its 3rd anniversary as a group a few days ago. In three years, we have received so much love not only in Korea, but also in Japan. My dreams came true and we will continue to work hard to reach the top.”

After School will release the first Japanese regular album on March 8, followed by the first independent concert tour “Playgirlz” in three different cities from April 27 to April 30.
