“Super Star K2’s” Jang Jae In is set to hold a duet performance with American singer and songwriter Rachael Yamagata, according to local news agencies. Reports say the audition program alumna will share the stage with Rachael Yamagata in late February.
Rachael Yamagata’s tour will make a South Korean stop on February 26 and Jang Jae In will appear as the opening act and special guest for some duet performances. Jang Jae In’s strong husky voice and personality is expected to make good harmony and provide a treat for the audience coming to Rachael Yamagata’s winter night concert.
Jang Jae In has already opened for Mary J. Blige in her Seoul concert in early 2011. On the other hand, Rachael Yamagata debuted in 2004 with her album “Happenstance,” and has since collaborated with other well-known musicians like Jason Mraz, Rhett Miller, Ray LaMontagne and Mandy Moore, among others.
