Rookie singer Juniel displayed another kind of charisma in her photo shoot with Elle Girl Magazine. Her usual innocent look onstage and in other magazine features was given an edgier treatment in her new pictorial.
Dressed in denim and lace skirt and her hair styled with a tousled look, the young singer showed off a slight reversal from her image. The photo shoot for Elle Girl is accompanied with an interview, in which Juniel revealed more details about herself.
“When I first debuted and anticipated giving a copy of my CD to senior singer BoA, I stood at the door of her waiting room, with my heart seeming to burst,” she said. She also revealed her hobby of collecting perfumes.
Juniel opened up about her thoughts of being in the music industry, saying, “I keep thinking about what songs I want to make, and in this life as a singer-songwriter, I hope to be one of the best.”
Juniel’s debut mini-album “My First June” was released in June. Its title track, “Illa Illa” was also chosen to feature as background music in the popular drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity.” The mini-album featured five tracks, including the duet “Fool,” with CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa.
