BEAST‘s Yang Yoseob, Seo In Young and Yoon Sang have been chosen to be the coaches for a new audition program, Mnet‘s “Voice Kids.”
On December 11, according to sources from Mnet, Yang Yoseob, Seo In Young and Yoon Sang have been chosen as coaches for this new show. “Voice Kids” is the children’s version of the hit audition program, “Voice of Korea” and will only allow contestants from ages 6 to 14 to participate. It will be a program to find the children with the best voices. Since it will be a show for children, rather than harsh and negative words, the coaches will need to give warm advice and support.
Yoon Sang and Seo In Young have both shown cold and harsh images in other audition programs in the past. So many are expecting to see a different side to both artists for “Voice Kids.”
An Mnet staff member commented, “We saw many young children with so much talent while we were working with ‘Super Star K‘ and ‘Voice of Korea.’ We thought it would be good to create a program that focused on them.”
“Voice Kids” will be run similarly to “Voice of Korea.” All the participants who passed the preliminary round will be performing a blind audition test and will be paired with a coach. They will then be competing against other teams with other coaches. The first episode will air on January 4 of next year.
