Super Junior took home the grand prize for the third time at 27th Golden Disk Awards.
January 15 was the first day of “The 27th Golden Disk Awards,” and was held at the Kuala Lumpur Sepang Circuit in Malaysia.
Super Junior took home the Disk Daesang (grand prize) for their sixth full-length album, “Sexy, Free & Single,” which sold over 480,000 copies. In the past, Super Junior won the grand prize for their hit songs, “Sorry Sorry” and “Mr. Simple.”
On Twitter, Eunhyuk shared his happiness with his fans and wrote, “The Golden Disk’s grand award! Music Award! MSN South East Asia Award! I really appreciate it! We are Super Junior! I love you Elf.”
Also, Donghae showed gratitude to their fans and wrote on Twitter,” Thank you for Super Junior’s third grand award. We are Super Junior!”
Super Junior along with Kim Gun Mo, Jo Sung Mo and Girls’ Generation, have won the most grand prize awards in the 27 year history of the Golden Awards.
