On June 9, Girls’ Generation held a press conference for its “2013 Girls’ Generation World Tour – Girls & Peace.”
On this day, Taeyeon said, “It is an honor to have a world tour and we will live up to the concert’s name. I’m excited to meet awesome fans around the world.”
She continued, “The main focus at this concert is a hologram video. There won’t be solo performances this time. We prepared many performances with all nine of the members. We will not rest and just run.”
Sooyoung shared, “We have more years under our belts and more performances to show as a result. We have great performances to show individually, but we wanted to show performances as a unit.”
For this tour, Girls’ Generation will be able to interact with themselves via hologram technology. SM Entertainment previously used this technology through “V Concert,” which stands for “Virtual Concert.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation will hold concerts in Taiwan on July 20 and 21 and will visit other cities in Asia as well as North and South America.
