Actress Choi Ji Woo visited the orphanage Star of the Sea Children’s Home in Incheon on her birthday, which is on June 10. Star of the Sea Children’s Home, which is the oldest orphanage in Korea, celebrated its 120th anniversary this year.
Choi Ji Woo and 40 members from her fan club “Star Ji Woo” helped by taking care of the children for the day with washing, feeding, and playing. She also gifted them with 20 children’s bicycles.
Choi Ji Woo stated at the end of the day, “I think people celebrate birthdays because we value our lives. I hope that all the children will always stay healthy and happy with hopes and dreams.”
An acquaintance later revealed, “For the past 15 years, Choi Ji Woo and her fan club members have volunteered regularly by visiting orphanages and providing free meals for senior citizens who live alone.”
Meanwhile, Choi Ji Woo recently provided the narration for MBC’s “Human Documentary Love- Hanna’s Miracle.”
