After turning himself in for driving while intoxicated, comedian Yoo Se Yoon announced his return on August 16 as part of UV.
According to OSEN, Yoo Se Yoon’s agency sources stated on August 7, “Yoo Se Yoon and Muzi will be releasing a new single on August 16,” and “Currently, they are working on the finishing touches on the single and music video.”
The source continued, “Even before, whenever UV released a new single, they did not promote heavily on broadcast,” and “Nothing has been decided on how they will promote this new single.”
Broadcast sources have also revealed that Yoo Se Yoon will return to TV through “SNL Korea.” According to Donga.com, the sources commented, “Yoo Se Yoon doesn’t not want a noisy come back,” and “He will be making surprise return without notice on ‘SNL Korea’ very soon.”
“SNL Korea” staff members commented, “It is true that we are discussing Yoo Se Yoon’s return,” and “The date of his return has not been decided yet but we are trying to set a date as soon as possible.”
Fellow UV member Muzi updated the public on Yoo Se Yoon’s current status on the most recent episode of “Radio Star.”
MC Kyuhyun asked, “Before, Yoo Se Yoon was the one who came out on TV a lot so you were shadowed but these days, it’s the other way around. What is Yoo Se Yoon doing these days?”
Muzi answered, “He is preparing to get a new license. He’s practicing the S-course as well as the T-course,” humorously referring to Yoo Se Yoon’s DUI incident.
Muzi continued, “He is doing things that he couldn’t do while he was on TV. He even got into swimming.”
Previously, Yoo Se Yoon turned himself in for a DUI in May. He apologized for his actions through his Twitter account and stepped down from all of his TV programs such as “Knee Drop Guru,” “Barefoot Friends,” and “SNL Korea.”
