Girl group Crayon Pop has moved to a new dorm after receiving much love for their hit song “Bar Bar Bar.”
Until now, the girls lived in a small townhouse located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, but have recently switched to a high-class apartment in the same area. Their new dorm is also located close to their agency, Chrome Entertainment.
For those who are not familiar with Korea’s real estate industry, apartments are the most desired way of residing in Seoul. While low-rise townhouses have their own appeal, they are often outdated and lack security services. Apartments are overall more expensive and modern, and living in one is highly preferred.
A representative said, ”Crayon Pop recently moved thanks to their much loved ‘Bar Bar Bar.’ Their new apartment has a low number of residents, and the security services are well provided. We chose a place where their private life could be easily secured and the members could safely walk around.”
Usually, the dorm is one of the first things to be upgraded when a group begins to gain popularity. Girl group Secret received much attention for revealing their tiny basement house, where they lived until breaking through with “Magic.” Also Infinite switched from a townhouse to a luxurious apartment after earning their title as one of Korea’s top boy groups.
Congratulations to the girls for the upgrade!
