Girls’ Generation‘s “I Got a Boy” and PSY‘s “Gentleman” have been announced as nominees for YouTube’s “Video of the Year” in their first annual Music Awards.
With other nominations including Justin Bieber, One Direction, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, it is definitely a big deal that two K-Pop acts are included.
For this award, fans can vote for their by sharing the nominee’s video. The winners will be announced live on November 3 at a New York Event.

As of right now, the view count for Girls’ Generation’s nomination video is way ahead of all the others with about 136,000 views. While the votes are made by sharing the video, this still shows a possible significant lead for the girls.
