Singer Ailee will return to Korea on November 13 for the first time since her nude photo scandal broke out on November 11.
According to media reports, Ailee will arrive at Gimpo Airport from Japan. A representative of YMC Entertainment told MyDaily, “It is true that Ailee will return to Korea, but she wants to do it quietly. She has no plans to make an official statement at the airport.”
Ailee was in Japan promoting her Japanese debut with her single “Heaven” when nude photos of her were shared and circulated on the internet. Despite the controversy, Ailee continued to promote in Japan as scheduled. It was reported that Ailee performed for her Japanese fans with a bright smile, showing her professional attitude. Ailee will be continuing as normal with her promotions and activities in Japan scheduled for the month of November. There are currently no decisions made for the singer’s activities in December.
YMC Entertainment has recently hired a U.S. lawyer to take legal action against the distributors of her photos from before her debut.
[Update] Ailee arrived at Gimpo Airport from Japan. She was protected by her managers and as her agency had said, did not give an official statement. Although not pictured here, other news sources reported that Ailee gave a smile to the reporters on her way to her car.
