K-Pop fans have been reeling in excitement after learning that DSP Media will be throwing a DSP family concert. The excitement is especially growing since there is a possibility that many of the DSP groups may get back together for the first time in a while, such as Click-B. It has also been announced that the Sechskies member Eun Ji Won as well as SS501‘s Park Jung Min have been confirmed to join the concert.
According to DSP on November 12, the two stars confirmed their appearance in the concert. Despite juggling a busy schedule, Eun Ji Won will be meeting his Sechskies fans for the first time in a while. Park Jung Min, who is currently promoting as a solo artist, will be attending as a SS501 member for the first time in about three years.
DSP also revealed, “We contacted the other Sechskies members but due to their conflicting schedules or personal reasons, only Eun Ji Won was able to join. In Go Ji Yong‘s case, we can’t even reach him right now.”
They added, “FIN.K.L‘s appearance looks to be difficult due to scheduling. In SS501’s case, Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng are both serving in the military. We are still waiting on Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Hyung Jun‘s decisions while Park Jung Min has been confirmed to appear.”
After Click-B, Eun Ji Won and Park Jung Min have been confirmed for the concert, many are wondering which other DSP artist will be added to the roster.
DSP was once called K-Pop’s pioneering big agency along with SM Entertainment in the early nineties with groups such as Sechskies, FIN.K.L and Click-B. Currently, DSP is home to Kara, Rainbow, A-JAX, Oh Jong Hyuk and others.
The DSP Festival will be held on December 14 at the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.
