Singer Lee Hyori is in the works to attend the “2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)” in Hong Kong this coming November 22.
Lee Hyori’s management revealed this in an interview on November 18 with a local news agency and said, “Specific details on whether she will perform or present an award have not been determined.”
When asked whether or not the singer would be making an appearance with her husband, Lee Sang Soon, they said it’s likely that she would be appearing solo.
This is going to be Lee Hyori’s first official public appearance since her marriage in September. The singer just recently returned from her month-and-a-half honeymoon backpacking in Europe with her husband.
This past May, Lee Hyori had a successful run with her song “Miss Korea,” and as popular as her promotions were, she has fans on the edge of their seats with a possible performance on November 22 at the award ceremony.
This year’s MAMA will also feature various international artists such as Stevie Wonder, Aaron Kwok, Icona Pop, Ylvis, and more.
In other news, voting for the 2013 MAMA will be open until November 21. Be sure to check it out and vote for your favorite artists!
