Actor and musical star Shin Sung Rok has been added to the star-studded cast of “My Lover from the Stars!”
The pilot episode of SBS’ upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “My Lover from the Stars” is only around two weeks away, and now a new actor has joined the drama. Shin Sung Rok will be playing Lee Jae Kyung, the older brother of Lee Hui Kyung (Park Hae Jin). After being discharged from the military in August, the handsome actor has been practicing his acting skills through appearing in famous musicals “Closer” and “Carmen.” “My Lover from the Stars” will be his first drama in three years, the most recent one being “Definitely Neighbours” in 2009.
Lee Jae Kyung, the character that Shin Sung Rok will be playing, is a famous businessman that has both the brains and the dandy looks. He will become the successor of a chaebol corporate group, and is also the older brother of Lee Hui Kyung. While he has everything a person can possibly have, there is an another side to the character. Lee Jae Kyung will be spicing up the drama with his intimidating presence.
SBS’ highly anticipated “My Lover from the Stars” starring Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun will be filling up the empty slot left behind by “The Heirs,” and the first episode will air on December 18. While waiting, take a look at a recently released teaser!
