Hallyu group Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ) celebrated the opening of “SMTown Hologram V-Theater,” a collaboration between SM Entertainment and Universal Studios Japan.
On December 12, the hot idol group was there for the ceremony to open the new hologram theater, along with 100 specially invited fans. Not only did TVXQ grace the new theater with their presence, but also watched some of the first hologram displays and shows in their first public run.
During the ceremony, TVXQ said, “We think this is a new opportunities for the fans to closely meet with their artists. I think it would be great if many people came to this new feature.”
The hologram theater will run for 66 days from Dec. 13 to the February 16 at the Universal Studios in Japan. Hologram performances of SM artists such as TVXQ, GIrls’ Generation, Super Junior, SHINee, f(x) and EXO will be running for fans to watch. Other exhibits will have previous and iconic outfits that the artists wore during their promotions, among other delightful displays for the fans to enjoy.
