Great news for K-Pop fans!
Many agencies have tried to incorporate fan participation in the past by inviting fans to visit the music video sets and take part in the filming. A recent example is G-Dragon’s music video for “Who You?” Trio Lunafly held a special event where they would upload the winning video as the official MV for one of their tracks “Stardust.”
MYSTIC89 decided to join in on the fun and hold a special event where they would release a collaboration music video with fans on Valentine’s Day. The label opened up an official instagram account in time for the special event. Couple of the event photos have the message “Give me your lovely Instagram photo and video for Valentine song” for their “best moment” and “the reason we fought.” Fans participating in the event must use the hashtag #mystic_valentine.
The visuals will be synched to the agency’s upcoming digital single fitting for the special day.
An agency representative stated, “Our agency think that communication with fans is very important. The Valentine’s Day music video event will be very meaningful as it’s a result of a collaboration with fans.”
