There is good news, and there is bad news. The bad news is that while earlier it was reported by Sports Hankook that 2PM will be returning with a new album in April, JYP Entertainment has denied that the date is set. The good news is that we’re still looking to a comeback by 2PM in the near future.
Sports Hankook reported earlier in the day that a source from the music industry told them 2PM recently decided on their title song for their new album and is preparing for their comeback. The article speculated that a April comeback for 2PM was likely, pitting them against first-generation K-Pop group g.o.d., who was reported yesterday as looking for a spring comeback. It would be an interesting lineup, as both groups have connections with Park Jin Young.
A rep from JYP Entertainment clarified to MyDaily that while 2PM is indeed in the midst of album preparation, their comeback date has not been decided yet. If they do comeback in April, however, it will be 11 months since their last album, “Grown,” which was released in May of last year.
