Halloween is set to come early for A-JAX fans, following an announcement that four members of the boy band will feature in a screen adaptation of the popular web novel “Vampire Flower”. The drama is set to air in May-June this year, and will feature Jaehyung, Hyunggon, Seungyub and Hyojun. They will play, respectively, the roles of Louis, Reka, Baekhan and Akan.
This news comes on the back of a very busy last few months for A-JAX, which has seen them involved in picture shoots, advertising campaigns, and TV dramas. They have also recently returned from a successful showcase in China.
Fans can expect a very different look for the four A-JAX stars in “Vampire Flower”, which is set to have a feel not dissimilar to the Twilight series. The story centers on the adventures of Louis, who becomes drawn into the spooky but intriguing world of a group of vampires. Its makers also say that it will feature a romantic story which unfolds between a vampire and a human character.
The director of the drama, Kim Sang Hoon, explained that he had been very keen to cast the four boy band stars, considering them ideal for these roles. He said, “They are very diverse – they can be tough and masculine when they need to be, and become toyboy romantics just as easily. They add a lot of passion and mystery to the drama.”
